All envelopes are custom designed based on clients needs unless artwork is supplied.
Standard Printing: is a one sided imprint and has a 1/4” margin on all four sides, regular ink coverage.
Custom Printing: is printing on front and flap, bleed on three sides, medium to heavy solids, screens, embossing, foil stamping, envelope conversion among others. Call us or e-mail us for a custom quote.
We print 1 to 3 color envelopes using pantone spot colors and some can be combined with full matching stationery packages. Our paper selection is large and includes economy, moderate and premium papers from Mohawk and Neenah. Not all envelope types are available on all papers, if necessary we have the ability to convert envelopes to the most common sizes. There are 16 standard ink colors to choose from and in addition we can mix any specific pantone color that you need. In addition to printing envelopes with ink we offer blind embossing, register embossing and foil stamping. We also print full color envelopes.
Any artwork supplied for solid spot ink color printing needs to be in encapsulated postscript an eps vector format file to ensure proper color separations, this type of print process is at 133 line screen to ensure proper file output
the file resolution should be at least 1200 dpi for line art or 300 dpi for grayscale or halftone pictures you should lighten bitmap image files to compensate for dot gain.
If your envelope artwork bleeds it will require envelope conversion please add 1/4" extra imprint area to each side this extra ink will be visible on the reverse side of the converted envelope.
